This is a 3-tiered cake. The “buns” are vanilla, and the “hamburger patty” is chocolate. Ketchup and mustard are tinted vanilla butter cream icing. Tomatoes, pickles, cheese, and lettuce are tinted fondant. (As are the sesame seeds and confetti.)
The backdrop was painted by Erin Oquindo, my daughter and art director.
This cake was created for an end-of-the-year pool party with a “Cheeseburger in Paradise” theme.
